Valentines

We had a Happy Heart Day at preschool.  We decorated Valentine sacks to carry home our valentines, ate some sweet treats, played musical chairs, and did a roll & write # activity on pink hearts.  Have you ever tried to take a group picture of preschoolers?  It usually takes more than one shot.

The students brought some props and recited a favorite nursery rhyme to the class.  We had some cute, creative presentations and some very proud presenters.

Finally . . . sort of.  We were lucky enough to actually have some snow on our snow day, but it was rather crunchy and not made for snowballs, snow angels, and snowmen.  But, we bundled up and had fun anyway.

Once Upon a Time . . .

a brave knight brought his shield to preschool,

kings wore their capes and crowns,

and beautiful princesses smiled for pictures.

What to Do in December

We were busy buckaroos in December. We created some beautiful gingerbread houses,

some lovely little reindeers,

wrote letters to Santa,

rolled out some gingerbread playdough,

and enjoyed many delicious treats!

Thanksgiving Feast

This year we had a popcorn feast. Each little buckaroo brought a bag of treats to add to our popcorn mix. Mmm, Mmm, Mmm doesn't that look good?

We got all decked out in feasting gear, a vest, a necklace, and fancy headbands.
