Oh what a busy week we had.  The snacks were delicious and the indoor camping was a huge hit.  The kids also loved painting our very hungry caterpillars with marshmallows.  Cute, creative, and curious kiddos.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

 This week we began our Very Hungry Caterpillar Color Unit.  We read one of my favorite books,

created some caterpillars with our hands,

some letter Cc caterpillar critters,

started our own Very Hungry Caterpillar books,

played with colorful handkerchiefs at recess, 

and enjoyed our first Alpha-bite cooking experience by making scrumptious carrot cookies.

Time for letter Cc. We of course had to read one of the greatest books of all time, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." Then we made a caterpillar in our ABC art books and even had a caterpillar & carrot sandwich for lunch. My secret circle maker . . . an easter egg.
